Indonesian Football Legend Bejo Sugiantoro Passes Away While Playing Football

Surabaya, xweb.biz.id – Indonesian football legend and former Persebaya Surabaya player, Bejo Sugiantoro, passed away on Tuesday (2/25/2025) afternoon while playing football with his colleagues in Surabaya. His sudden death has left the Indonesian football community in deep sorrow.

Bejo, who was serving as the head coach of Deltras FC, reportedly collapsed on the field during the second half of the match. He was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital for medical attention. However, despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at 17:20 WIB.

The body of the late Bejo Sugiantoro was transported to his family home in Taman District, Sidoarjo, East Java, via ambulance. His remains were promptly prepared for the funeral, which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday (2/26/2025) morning.
